Laura Unger

I live and work in Vienna. At the age of five I learned to play the violin, later I autodidactically experimented with guitar and accordion. After longer periods in Chile and Italy I studied Dance, Context and Choreography at HZT (UdK) in Berlin, Performing Arts at Bilgi University in Istanbul and dance studies at Salzburg University. After I had finished my BA degree in Berlin I returned to Vienna where I received a START scholarship from the Austrian Federal Chancellery (BKA). Currently I am working on artistic and scientific ways to engage with folk dance research from the past until today.
